My dad bought a Stealth Cam Digital 3.0 mega-pixel with 1.8" TFT LCD monitor theletter is DIGRC-XTRV. The batteries run down to nothing in just 1 or 2 days so he ordered a 12 volt adapter from cabelas so maybe it will last 2 weeks like the box said. But have any of you had this problem. And any suggestions on where and directions to put out one of thesecameras, i know on trails, rubs, scrapes but should the camera be facing broadside to the deer or head on when the deer is walking. Thanks

One of the best things you can do just to get alot of pics is pour out a bag or 2 of corn and set your camera up on it, I know its not giving you all the scouting info you need but it does let you know what you have around, and you can get some great pictures.

wilhunter, always aim your cam down a game trail and not across it. Also be sure it faces north or south and not east or west. The reason being, according to customer service reps., is: the rising or setting sun may have an effect on the heat reaction of the cam as most have infrared motion sensors. I had problems with mine until I changed to these specs. Good luck. BuddyBo
