OK, I'm having a hard time finding a really quite, durable rain suit. I'm looking for something & can wear that's light weight not to hot, water & wind proof. What does everyone recommend?

The really light part rules out my first suggestion of the Cabelas Revolution Fleece as it tends to be a bit bulky. Next suggestion would be the Cabelas Rain Suede. Quiet, comfortable and affordable...followed by Mad Dog Gear's Rain gear. The Growler model in particular. The price was extremely affordable and it was well made.

Cabela's MTO50 is awesome and my favorite rain gear. Cabela's Rain Suede is also a GREAT material for the money. I also have and use the Scent-Lok Supreme rain gear that works very well. I suggest spending your money on one of these for excellent performance based on my experience

Frog Toggs![:'(] Wayyyy too noisy. It's not cheap but I bought a Browning Gore Tex Packable rainsuit about 5 years ago and it still keeps me bone dry today. It packs into a stuff sack about the size of a football and will fit into just about any pack. My buddies all tried the cheaper ones and now they have realized the Browning setup is where it's at and they all have one now too. Expect to spend around $300 for the set.
