i would have guessed him at 120-130.. dressed out.

he looks REAL BIG in the game cam picture. i guess its because he is so close, and that slight angle he is standing.
he weighed 135 dressed out... thats Realistic and it fits his picture (dead picture)

But if you ever notice, Online and in Magazines...
when people pose with there hogs on the ground, or in a pickup truck bed...
with a Hog That size, and ALOT of times it will say Killed by so and so... in *blank* County... weighed 250lbs.
and i see this all the time and its just does not match the picture that goes with it.

i will look for a picture of a russian that i killed when i was 12 years old.
that was 13 years ago.. so i didnt look like the bald guy in the pictures up above.
ill post it on here when i find it.. he was Huge and we were all suprised when he only weighed 117 pounds dressed out.

i was 12 years old here.
this hog only weighed 117 pounds dressed out but his body size... (height and length)
was just as Big as the Big Boar i Posted up top.
he just didnt have as much weight

it says its a 300 pound Hog... Looks to be a 120 Pound Hog.. dressed out.
even With all the guts, it doesnt look like it would push 190.

Was sitting in a stand overlooking a pond when i heard a hog very close
to the tree i was in. Aftera couple of minutes he came out. For some reason i thought he looked about like an 80 pounder. Wrong!!! Had to draga 300 pound+ hog about 75 yards where i could hook him up to the truck winch. This is the biggest one i have gotten in about 6 months.

Distance: < 12 yards.
Gun: .50 cal. CVA Stag Horn
Powder: Pyrodex RS, 100 grains
Bullet: 240grain Hornady XTP
Primer: 209 Winchestershotgun

I'd have to agree that hog wouldn't go over 200 tops. Few folks actually weigh their kills as it's hardly ever what you hope. I've done it enough for DNR research that I can judge on the hoof now with some accuracy. I am one of the few hunters that goes after hogs on WMA's in the remote regions of South Carolina's mountains. Dept. of Natural Resources begs my group to go up there and take as many hogs as possible. They have become a big problem by destroying all the habitat and food sources for the few black bears we have. Every hog I take from there is weighed and sampled for diseases by conservation officers. Going back in a couple of days...

I've seen a lot of hogs lose weight. I was called to clean a hog my friend shot. He said it was about 175 pounds, when I got there the hog was in the fifty pound range. I think a lot of hunters lie, just like fishermen. .

He folks, criticize all you want to. Accuse me of lying if you want to. But i weighed that hog with his guts in. 302 pounds. Maybe some of you guys lie about the number of hogs that you actually kill.

i dont know How he he is that heavy, but be must have some fat on him.. because the body size looks like an 100lb or so.
as we discussed above in the post, i guess alot of people weigh them with the guts still inside.
i never have, i gut them on the spot.. right where they drop... so all his friends can come back an hour later and eat them !

I would always Kill some Big Boys.. the the 1st 1 i posted in this post.. page 1.
but i gut them.. then weight them later and there always Less than 200.
i think maybe i keep the guts in the next one to weigh him..... so that I can claim a 300 pounder.
i was starting to get jealous .. LOL

i would have guessed yours at 120 Dressed out..
which i would say would have guessed 180 with the guts.

BUT.. there has been times where i have killed 2 Hogs..
or I kill 1, and a Friend kills the other.
We Gut them both out, and weigh them later.
and Several times... the SMALL BODY HOG has Actually weighed 20-30 Pounds More than the Bigger one.
Maybe they just have more meat or Fat Packed Away Somewhere.

That hog was weighed with the guts in at 302 pounds. i always gut them in the field: This time it was impossible because i had to beoff of US government propertyby 8:30 p.m. As it was i got off the place a little late. That was a very old hog and also very fat.He may no longer have been sexually active because the meat is very good.
