I saw my Arrhythmia Cardiologist today. He gave me great news. The arrhythmia I had Friday evening was not life threatening. Because of my excited state and my adrenaline was elevated, I had Atrial Fibrillation. That is a very fast heart rate in the left atrium. To be specific, the atrium was beating 240 bpm. My doctor prescribed cardizem and I will take it only before I go hunting. My doctor is also a hunter and I invited him to be my guest at Vandenberg AFB to hunt pig, so he’s planning to hunt with me next month.

Great story! Couldn't help but wonder, do you think the "rush" of adrenalin from hunting might have caused your defib to shock you?
I'll never forget the first time I had deer under my tree stand. I though somebody was chopping at the base of my tree! Turned out to be my heart poundingin my chest!

Absolutely! I’m sure you heard the story about the rider who fell off the horse the first time. He was told to get back on! Well, I’ve bought another pig tag and I’m going back out soon.
