Thanks for your help on this, but one last question.
I bought a set of low mounts but it's like I have to tilt my head a little bit to get low enough to see the scope clearly(or do I need to work on my form when shouldering the rifle?).
As mentioned the lower the better, but what would be the trade off if I switched to Medeum bases?
