Default savage 116fcsak

Does any one have any reports on this new savage Fluted adjustable muzzlwe brake model . I am looking for a new rifle for my daughter in 7mm 08 .I was looking at the remington mountain rifle and putting a brake on it .It seems like the savage would foot the bill . I will cut either rifle to around 12 1/4 inches lop .

Thanks Woodie

Just wondering, why the need for the brake?
In my opinion the damage caused to ones hearing resulting from use of a muzzlebrake often far outweighs any benefits from reduced felt recoil.

woodietp,
7mm 08 is a fine choice. What I got for my daughter was a Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08. She loves it and I have to admit it's a tack driving little rifle.
