I have shot hogs dead in thier tracks with PMC .30-30 Star Fires.
You ought to see what they do to a hog.
I still have 3 boxes of them, just for hogs.
I normally shoot them with .35Rem, but have been using these
for awhile.

Missed_another, PMC .30-30 Star Fire are solid copper with slits on the tip.
They open up like a rose and create a nasty wound.
FMJ's have a lead core. They are against the law in FL for hunting.

I buy up here for practice rounds. The 243 100 grains shot good groups in my 243 Handi rifle. The down side if you can call it that was that I chronographed some 30-06 150 grain PMC ammo and it was only running about 2600 fps. I quess thats about 300 fps behind the federal 150 grain Speer grandslams which clocked at 2940 in the same rifle.
