Need info on atecs,thinking about putting one on my rifle.thanks 2506 ps new to the site

I put one on my mauser 25-06 and it's been fine. they have nice optics and big field of veiw. the only drawback is most guns need ext. rings to mount them as they are quite short between the bell and eyepiece

I have an Atec 6.5-20X42 on my 220 Swift that I took off a Leupold 24x to try and the Simmons replaced the Leupold.

On a 25.06 the Atec should be OK. They have adaquate optics, not the best but adaquate. In my experience with Atecs is that they are a litle fragile. I have had several, 6 out of 8, that have shook apart under heavy recoil.

I put one on my Browning A-Bolt 25-06 and it works very nice I fell comftoranle shooting and hitting out to 400 yards. However I wish i would of saved up and bought a Nikon Monarch. But for a mid class scope it is a really nice scope.
