just got a new scope for my savage model 11 in .243win its a simmons atece 3.8-12 power with the sunshade i got it for 75$ what do yall thank about the scope and i dont want to hear the its a simmons so its bad[:@]

Did you buy it new or used? The simmons aetec was a decent scope. It was the top of the line of the Simmons scopes. I have owned two of them and they are still going strong after about 10 years. Are they the greatest most bestest scopes..... obvioulsy no..... are they a good scope for the money......yes. And if it is new $75. is a good buy. If used, 75 isn't bad as long as the integrety of the scope was not compromised by the previous owner. But that is simply the risk you take with any used scope. But by your post, I think you probably know all of this anyway. Good luck with it.

$75 for an Aetec is a good deal. I'd almost certainly pay that. Go on Ebay and see what Simmons Aetec scopes are selling for (just be sure to spell it correctly, or your searches will come up empty).

my dads freind at work had it for sale and he had never shot wit it on the gun it came on it looks great just a little ring marks but thhe dude kept it clean..........thanks for the reponses........and yea i cant spell

Is it the best scope no way, but for price it was a good buy. I think you use it for a while, and later when you have more money buy something better.
