Default Question about old ammo

A friend recently gave me this box of 12 guage shells. The box is full and all 25 shells are in. Can anyone tell me how old they are and if there is a value, other than colletion

Nice!!!...keep them....I suspect they're 1950's vintage but not really sure.

I'd bet they will all shoot well if you want to but they're probably worth $20-$50 at a gun show. As long as there's no missing shells.

About 12 years ago I was given a bag of loose shells, probably about 125 shells, all mixed between 12, 16, and 20 ga shells of about the same vintiage you are showing.
I didn't have one missfire. Not one.

I will agree with Vapodog. Those are 50's vintage. You may want to sell them as vintage ammo. I bet you can get a nice chunk of change for them.
