i shoot a 7 mm mag will a simmons atec zero hold dead on or is this to much gun for this scope any body used this scope on mag rifle and how did it prefrom and what was the groups.help app!!!!!

I have one on my .338 Win. Mag and have not had a bit of trouble with it. I believe these are one of the most underated scopes out there.

Sorry, forgot to add that I'm getting 3/4"-1" three shot groups at 100 yards. It also survided air travel to Canada this past November with no problems. I have yet to have to rezero the scope, hope this helps!

I do not forsee any issues with that combo.

a friend of mine has had one on a .300 win mag for about 3 years. I asked him about a month ago how it was holding up. He said its been great so far w/ no shift in zero.

No problem at all.

7Rem mags are easy on most scopes..its when you cross the line and get into the 300's that a more rugged scope is required.

got one on a 300 Remington Ultra mag, and two on 7mm Rem mags. If it will hold up to a 300 RUM then it will hold up to a 7mm.
