Quilly I use my M-1 for hunting all the time from black bears to deer, moose and the rare elk.Very good shooting rifle takes some time getting use to the side mounted scope and the wieght well you just got to love the rifle to deal with that part .And it is sure nice to go to the range and out shoot alot of todays considered accurate rifles with an old legend. An ausome piece of work!
