Last year I was shooting 175 grain Grand Slam bullets with my 7mm Rem Mag. They were the Speer Nitrex brand. Apparently they don't make Speer Nitrex anymore. Does anyone know of any factory ammo available with Grand Slam bullets? Thanks.

Do you know what the rules are for shipping ammunition to Canada?

RDJ, not sure where you live in Canada but a buddy who uses this bullet ordered some from Wholesale Sports, so I would contact them to see if they still have some stock in the Calgary Warehouse - if you have a WS outlet near you they will arrange for a store transfer so you'll pay no charge for shipping. You may also try Russell Sports in Calgary or SIR Mailorder out of Winnipeg both of these use to stock Nitrex brand ammo and may have some stock for you.

As far as getting ammo shipped it ain't going to happen to a Canadian consumer from the US. You may try asking your local shop if they would be willing to do a special order for you from the link provided. The only other option is either reload or search out somebody willing to reload for you.

Skeeter - I checked at Whoesale and Russel sports. Both said they didn't make them anymore and were out of stock. Can you tell me more about SIR Mailorder in Winnipeg? Do they have a web site? Thanks.

RDJ, did you call the Calgary Mailorder Desk for Wholesale Sports?? The reason I ask is my buddy asked at the Saskatoon store to do a query and they said no stock available as it was discontinued but when he called the Mailorder Desk they had no problems filling his order.

Check out Federal ammo. I believe some of their factory ammo is made using the
Speer Grand Slams. Or, you could always go with their stuff using the Trophy Bonded
bullets; it's good stuff too.
