Hi,
I know a few of you know how to use the software that tells you the bullet drop, energy etc... of various calibers. Could someone run a comparision of 4 of them for me in the more common grains or all equal grains if it makes sense to do it that way etc...
I need .308, .30-06, .300 Win Mag.
Thanks a bunch.
Tom

Here is a link to download Remington ballistic software. Pretty handy to have, and it's free.

Thanks a lot guys. I just wanted to get a feel for bullet drop on the 300 win mag relative to the two calibers that I am familiar with .308 and .30-06. I have been thinking about picking up a 300 for some time now.
Thanks

I've got Winchester's Shoot V3.0 "30 day free" software downloaded. It's pretty cool.
It showed me exactly how far my old Marlin 30-30 will go with a Winchester Silvertip 170gr round. Good God, at 250 yards, the classic 30-30 round drops like a rock! [:-] It's just as well.... I don't plan on shooting anything over 100 yards anyway.
