Does a 454 kill deer any faster than a 44mag?

Forget about the 454. S&W will be releasing a new hand gun built on the X-frame. Called the 460 magnum. You can read about it in the new (March) Shooting Times.
Case length of 1.8 inches and OAL of 2.3 inches. So far Hornady and Corbon are loading "experimental" loads but this thing is a power house of a hand gun.
200 grain XBT and SST bullets are leaving the muzzle at about 2250 fps. 300 grain at 1800 fps and a 395 grain cast at 1600 fps. All out of 7.5 inch barrel. SAAMI maximum average pressure for this cartridge is 65,000 psi.
It has gain twist rifleing that starts out at 1 in 100 inches and gains to 1 in 20 inches.
It is said to be less punnishing than many 454 handguns with the porting, the gain twist rifleing, the weight of the gun and the soft grips. Supposedly it feels like shooting a normal 44 mag load.
Testing showed it to be a 2 MOA hand gun and aproaching a MOA handgun.
Very interesting to say the least.
