I would rather use a piece of PVC pipe with cellophane film on both ends then any Burris scope.

Thanks guys. That's excatly the kind of information I was looking for. Looks like a Nikon Monarch is in my future. I had instituted a personal boycott of any/all Nikon products a few years back due to poor custome service issues but from what I've been hearing lately, they've made quite a few changes and are really good to deal with now.
