Rem 700 Mountiam LSS or Borwning A-Bolt II SS
#1
I ordered a 700 Mountain LSS in .270 win, but I'm concerned about the light weight barrel not performing as well as a standard medium weight barrel. I'm wanting at least 1 moa groups. I have not shot the Mountian LSS yet, he'll let me bring it back as long as it in still in new unfired condition. I had thoughts of swopping it out for a Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker. What do you think ? Keep the Mountian LSS or swop it for the A-bolt SS ? Please help me make up my scrambled mind !

For three shot groups into MOA the thinner barrel is usually not a problem.Although I prefer heavier barrels because I want even more accuracy,I have seen several accurate rifles with thin barrels, including a few 700mountain rifles.

The mountain rifle will shoot 1" MOA for a 3 shot group. I absolutely love hunting with my mountain rifle. Handles nicely in the woods and brush. I would keep the mountain rifle.
