Camp_13, this is GORGEOUS rifle. Congratulations, and I hope this baby shoots as good as it looks!

My wife shoots a 7400 in a .280 and its groups around 2" with most loads. The part about the Jam o matic is correct! If you don't clean the gun every 15 to 20 rounds it will jam almost everytime. I also discovered that even if its freshly cleaned and you are driving down a dusty road on a ATV with the gun over your back, it will jam with the slightest amount of dust! It doesnt like some bullets either, my wifes gun likes accubond the best, I guessing becasue of the polymer tip. I agree go with the pump, or buy a browning BAR if you want a auto.

I would go with the 7600 I own one in 270 like it very well far as 742 or 7400 the 7400 is the best but i wouldn't own either.
