Default Does this gun/caliber exist??

Can anyone tell me if you can find or have owned/own a Remington model 742 in 25-06? I have been checking online, and cannot find any info. If you know they exist please let me know, and if anyone has one for sale, drop me an email.

Thats not one of the calibers that the 742 was manufactured in ,but it should be possible to get one chambered in the 25-06 .

Dont know if it was offered in the 742, but i do know that remington offers the 25-06 in a 7600 pump in a limted quanity gun. It is on their website under 2004 Limited Run firearms. It comes in a laminated stock version and only available through Grice Wholesale in Pa. So they may have at one time offered it in the auto rifle. Its a definete possiblity, since the 7400 has been chambered in several calibers that have since been dropped from that gun like the .35 Whelen and .280 Rem.

I dont know, but I would guess that those two numbers did not exist at the same time.... 742 was early 7400 semi.and 25-06 is not that old

The 25-06 was introduced in 1969. Alot of guns could have been offered in the last 35 years. It's a possibility.
