my wife shot one in .243 at 50 yards ( distance I wanted my son shooting at for now) the group could be covered easily by a dime (3 shots). I was impressed to say the least.

I just got one for my 12 year old (for his 13th b-day) in 7mm-08, and liked it so much sighting it in that I got myself one in .223. I agree that the factory recoil pad is pretty good. I was amazed at how little recoil there was from the 7mm-08. My other rifle is a .30-06, and I think I might be "borrowing" the 7mm-08 sometimes....
