Does anybody use the Butler Creek 25 round clip for a Ruger 10/22? Do they work very well? Any problems with them? I am buying a 10/22 on Friday, and was thinking of getting one of the Butler Creek 25 round magazines. Any input would be appreciated.

The But Creek mags work OK at best when new, but quickly become prone to not feeding too well. Nothing works as well as Ruger original 10 round rotary mags. Nothing.

I'll agree with Matt. Before the AWB expired, I know guys that paid big money($70) for those high cap mags and was very disappointed when they got them home. I personally wouldn't waste my money on them. Buy a couple more factory mags and you'll be better off.

sot_II has it right. the steel lips are the way to go. The hot lips feed rails wear out very quick. Also, your clip may not cycle cheaper ammo. I had to use Rem. Cyclone and better to feed properly.
