what would be some good magazines to sucribe to for hunting whitetail deer ??? In Illinois..

My favorite magazines are Deer and Deer Hunting and North American Whitetails. But, be forewarned the tactics they write about may or may not benefit you and your style of hunting. The writers are hunting all over the US and usually on some great pieces of hunting ground. So, take it with a grain of salt.

I think Big Buck magazine is the best WT deer publication on the market ...it is published out of Sask. Canada

There are many good ones.In my opinion the best of the bunch is Deer and Deer Hunting,this is for quality writing and educational information.For looking at Huge bucks DD hits the nail on the head with BIG Buck magazine.

I think North American Whitetail is the best deer magazine out there for whitetail deer. Big Buck was better years ago than it is now, they concentrate heavy on Sask, and tend to throw alot of mule deer in there as well as moose and elk. I think I will stick with NAW, im a little tired of reading 2 and 3 page stories on a 140 class Sask. buck
