Im either going to get a savage mkII bolt action 22 with a clip magazine, or a marlin bolt action 22 with a clip magazine. Which one should i get? Ill be using it mostly for squirrel hunting.

I think their both good guns for the money. My Marlin is very accurate, but my Savage, after i refinished it, looks nicer. They both shoot O.K.

I own a .22 mag. Marlin model 25MN. Bought the gun when I graduated high school and topped it off with a scope. It shoots very well with CCI hollow point ammo. I have taken every thing from squirrels to turkeys with it. I don't have any experience with the Savage products, but have heard they have improved drastically the past few years. For the $130.00 I paid for the gun at the time I definitely can't complain!
