There is a seller on Gunbroker that sells a lot of CZ's and is located near ATlanta. I usually drive thru in January ..I am going to make a detour this go around and look at one of these in person and decide right then and there to buy it hopefully they will be well stocked with laminates. Seems I can't find a local dealer anywhere that stocks CZ's and especially in those calibers.

This is cool. I've been thinkin about a 375H&H too. Definately not any NEED for one here in TX. But if we all went on need we would all have only a 12ga and MAYBE one rifle. To heck with need I WANT IT!! That's good enough. Now I just have to figure out how I will pay for it.

I see Red Hawk is willing to take on large California cats with his bow, so maybe I should scale down on what to use on a bison. :-)

Well, maybe not. Walmart can special order a Ruger #1 in 375 for about $675. (Anybody tried that?) I'm not too worried about a fast 2nd shot. When I was a kid, my very 1st rifle was a single. I just kept another bullet pursed in my mouth for another shot, at least if it was a bit above zero. Not as fast as a mauser..... but not bad!

Though they are fairly gentle midbores, I personally would not recommend the "bullet in mouth" technique for a 375 H&H. [:o]

Left cheek, actually. Wouldn't taste any worse than a 45 70 and better than a sandstorm. But as long as we are on safety first.... do you think it would raise chamber pressure?
