I have scope on my shotgun for deer hunting but come turkey season i want to use a scope and have been told that if i take the scope off to put another one on it will mess with the setting it is at and make it off when shooting. i was wondering if i just left the scope on and just remember how much i change it for my turkey gun and change it back for teh deer gun. would that work? any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Leave the scope on. You will need to pattern your gun for your turkey load, then sight in again when you go back to slugs or buckshot. You can get close by remembering how you've adjusted it, but it's always best to double check after any adjustments.

If you have a bore sight you could check to see where it is when you take it off then write it down then when you put it back on you could put the cross hairs back in the same spot ..
