Just was wondering who here uses a 30-06 for deer hunting. I got my 30-06 3 years ago and absolutely love using it. I own a Remington 7600 Pump Action 30-06.

I have 3 .30-06s

1- sako this rifle is great !!!!!

1- remington 760 semi was given to me for free I wouldnt spen my $$$$ on this model, but it does shot well

1- winchester pre-64, gun is in great shape, no need to use it

I have a few 30-06's around, includeing a Valmet 412, a Krieghoff drilling in 06, and a Rem 742 semi auto..

"If" i could only have one big game rifle, the 30-06 would be at or near the top of my list of choises!

I hunt with a .30-06 also!!! I have two- A Savage 110 and a Sears Model 53, which my Grandpa gave me 6 years ago, and which I killed my first deer with. I will never get rid of that one, its basically Winchester Model 70 with the Sears name on it.

I DO!!! But it's necked down to .270.....

I do, it's a rem model six, great gun for a rem. shot more than a few deer past the 400 yd. mark with open sites. To bad Rem. can't make shotguns as good as their rifles.

Me too. 7600 Remington 30-06. Great gun. No need for much else. I still want the others though.
