Just wondering any feedback on this model of Redfield. I don't really remember hearing any negatives on Redfield, but at the same time I have no expeirence with their products. I am pulling off the simmons package scope from my new Savage 270 WSM probably will put it on a .22 down the road for my 7 yr. old. I thought this would be a much improved scope over the packagae deal scope that comes on it. Higher end scope not in the budget this year. Thanks for any comments.

I recently got a Redfield scope from Sportman Guide, its a 4X16 that I put on my 243 for varmint/coyotes. I was very impressed with the clarity of the optics and the long eye relief. I don't know how it will last over the longterm but I would recommend the Redfield based on my short term expierence.
