A big thanks to the forum for pointing me to the web page that shows how to adjust the Rem 700 triggers. Turns out that this is a very easy adjustment to make. Just follow the instructions and take your time. Even I managed to get it done in under 30 minutes.

Thanks for posting this georgetown. I used to have this infor years ago, but after moving several time, I guess it got lost in transit. I have save this in my favorites in my "shooting" folder.

I just purchased a Model Seven, does any one know if it shares the same trigger as the 700 and will the directions above work on it too.
