Default S&W 629 Revolver

I have a S&W 629 Revolver. Love it, when shot single action.

Dislike it, when shot double action. Is there a way to lesson the trigger pull when used as double action?

The S$W model 29, and the stainless version M629 are my favorive hunting handguns!! I've taken blk tailed deer, white tailed deer, moose ect.. with mine.

When you shoot it double action, there's a lot of mass rolling around for the next shot, along with moveing the hammer back for the next shot. You can send it to a gunsmith and have it smoothed upped to make it feel better. But, personally i wouldn't want the spring your compressing while pulling it through double action to be made to have less power.

Smoothing things up does make it feel like it's pulling easier, and that's where i'd spend the money on it.
