I have never owned one but a friend of mine does in 300win.mag. The arguement is that if you handload you dont need it. My buddy does reload and had a reload perfected. ready to hunt right. Wrong!!! his ammo got left behind when he loaded up (@300 miles). The boss allowed him to drive to the nearest town buy 4 boxes of premium ammo and proceed to sight in then tune his gun to the new load. I was impressed. it also allows you to tune a rifle to a bullet you preferr that your rifle doesnt like (barnes-X comes to mind although I've never had any problems w/ them).

I have a winchester 30-06 with the boss ,I bought the conventinal recoil set up ( no brake) amd I love it . I hand load ,didn't have to play with loads just dialed a .75" group in . The A bolt is a good gun I just like control feed.

I have a browning Eurobold with boss in 243. I got the Boss CR and have never looked back. It is easily the one of if not the most accurate rifles I own. Man is it a shooter. I also like the fact that I can tune the boss to shoot different bullets. I have it set for 100gr Sierra SBT Federal premium load and 1/2" groups are the norm. I have even shot some 300 yards groups that you guys would never believe. You won't regrett it.
