As far as my favorite rifle goes, I always find myself reaching for my Ruger 77 Mk II All Weather 270 Win. I like them all, but I am most comfortable with that rifle. We have alot of range time and woods time together.

The gun that i own, that i hunt with the most and would not want be with out, is my Krieghoff drilling in 16x16x8x57jrs. This gun weighs in at 7 pounds loaded, and i also have a B&L 1x6 scope that snaps on with claw mounts when needed. I also have several "insert barrels" that i can slide into action when i want too. It really is a all around gun!!
I've shot a pile of meat with this thing for my freezer, includeing ducks, phesants, deer, grouse, bear, moose, and all kinds of other game animials!!!
"If" i do my part, the 200 grain Nosler partition just plain knocks them flat!! The picture is of one of the two bucks i shot with this drilling, this last fall.

Remington 700 SS in 300 Ultra Mag, killed my big buck with it, but my safe is always open for a new favorite. I've got an NIB Browning 280 that is crying for a scope and my 700 SS 270 makes me smile when it puts the smack down.
There are a ton of others, 7mm-08 is next, that I want and each and every one could be my new favorite.
My 300 Ultra Mag Kansas 10 point from last year.

I've used a 7mm Rem Mag since 1975 so I guess it's my favorite. I do try other rifles and pistols though to keep it interesting. This year I think I'll try a Marlin 1895, that caliber has always interested me and now I'm gonna go for it! Some say I'll be hooked forever and forget about the 7 but we'll see.
