The accra glas gel kit is for bedding your action into your stock......... If you look inside a factory stock you will see all of the places that have been cut out to allow the barreled action to sit inside the stock. What you do when bedding a rifle is to cut or scrape away some extra wood in places like where the recoil lug sits, behind the recoil lug, the first two to three inches of the barrel channel, the rear tang, and the bottom metal. Replace that wood that you scraped away with the accra glass gel. This gives you a 100% one to one fit between the action and the stock. The gel also protects the inside of the wood and prevents the wood from absorbing moisture and warping under extreme weather conditions.

Torquing your action is to apply a specific ammount of force when tightening your action screws. IMO this is hardly ever necessary. Especially if your rifle has been bedded. You just don't want to tighten the screws so much that you begin to crush the wood. A good rule of thumb is to lightly snug them up and then add a 1/4 turn. This is plenty tight to hold your rifle together but not overly tight.

rednex90,
If you have any specific questions about this kind of thing feel free to PM or e-mail me any time you want.
