This would be the best place to look. The 7MM RUM is a 404 Jefferys case necked doen to a 7MM bullet. Much more powder in this case. The 7MM-08 is a 308 case with a neck size to fit the 7MM. If you list them by most powerful it would be this
7MM RUM
7mm mag
7MM-08

RE: 7 mm load question...
What is the difference between 7mm-08 and 7mm magnum (and ultra magnum)? Like the difference between .38 sp. and .357?
38 special round in a .357 Mag chamber.....you can't do that with the 7MMs you mentioned.....they only thing they have in common is a .284 diameter bullet.
Marty hit it pretty good on the power differences.....however all are more than adequate for any north american deer, pronghorn and even elk.
