200 grain are ideal for deer and blk bear, and as was alread said, the 250's were designed for bigger game. I shot a moose with a 250 corlok and it worked well with good penetration.

My wife's aunt lives in Harrison, real pretty hills there, see deer everytime we drive over there. If you can't find anybody to get you started reloading, get ahold of me when you get settled up here. I live about an hour from the area you're talking about.
