low, medium, or high rings??

i find on my browning medallion i had to use medium rings and i two piece basedue to the belll housing in a low mount would be too low. if you can get low mounts and the scope does not hit the barrel go for them. i was always told you want it closer to the barrel as possible

I have the same scope and Medium Rings are the correct height.Like already mentioned,you want to keep the scope as low as possible,Spend the extra money and buy quality rings.Stay away from the "See Thru" rings.I've had good luck using Redfield Bases and Rings.
