i have a wally world special $388.88 four years old in the 30.06 and it is the best shootin gun i have ever owned.
i went with it over the rem. 700 because i liked the smooth barrel w/o iron sights and also because the stock was a little thicker and made for a little more gun. being a little heavier makes the recoil a little better. i shoot 180's out of it and can hit a quarter consistently at 100 yrds with a good rest.
that is good enough for me so my money was well spent.

cant go wrong for the money

I just bought a Weatherby Vanguard XVG in 270 Winchester. It feel nice, shoulders well, and can't wait to shoot it. It is a step up from the Wally wolr Vanguard with a two-tone walnt stock. It's a very nice looking rifle and very welll made.
