Lonewolf, I bought one at wal mart . It was the same price I believe about 2yrs ago. Syn stock and matte black with adj sights and rifled barrel. My receiver was drilled and tapped also. Used it 2 seasons that way and this year put a 2.5x scope on it. I think they are a good gun myself. Shoots good with the copper slugs from federal, also from wally world.
It shoots the bargain winchester slugs real good to about 50 yds but the coppers are the way to go, more accurate and easier cleaning.

Winchester's 1300 is a fine pump gun and the price is good too....it needs to be considered when one is looking at the 870 Remmy that has been severely cheapened to compete in the no brains markets of today.
