Taurus Model 63 Win 22 L/R?????
I have been trying to get my hands on ones of these Taurus made replica of the Winchester Model 63 22 LR. I have tried several of my suppliers since about April this year, no one has had any and they don't know when they will have any. Has anyone seen any on dealers shelves?? Taurus has been advertising them since the summer of 2002 and stil to my knowldege have not shipped any.
Oh well, guess I will have to stick to my Ruger 10/22 and my dad's old Winchester 63 that he gave me about 20 years ago.

I too would like to get my hands on one. My dad's old 63 Win is in excellent shape and I can't even begin to count the # of red squirrels it has accounted for. what a sweet little package, and take-down as well.
If the Taurus will perform anything like the Win 63 it will be a winner. I hope to find out that somebody is stocking them.

RE: Taurus Model 63 Win 22 L/R?????
Hey Guys,
Check around some more. I just saw my first one stocked at a local gun shop. (Actually in Norveldt, Pennsylvania) It is indeed a very nice looking rifle. With my upcoming planned move to Alaska, I'm just not sure I've the room for another .22LR semi now.
Once I get to Alaska, (I'm waiting on the release of the .22 Rimfire Magnums), I think I will track down...and purchase one in the Magnum Model. Uuuummm, maybe even the .17HMR?!?
By the way....it looked even better in real life...than the pictures!
Good luck with your search.
