Well, things aren't going so well with my Mauser I just bought. It's marked a 7mm, but I think it might be a .308, so I have to take it to a gunsmith to get checked out anyway, but the magazine guide is in backwards for some reason, so she won't repeat for sh*t, it looks great, but I don't have the money to get it worked on a whole lot. Oh well, it would be worth what I paid for it to hang on the wall as a collectors, hell, it's 108 years old!

I'll say what the smith will tell you if it's actually that old and chambered in .308. Don't shot it!!! Unless you reload, and make some real low pressure rounds for it. Sounds like a model '94 or '93. 108 years? Is that the year of production or the model based on the design year?
