Members, it is with a sad heart that I must tell you all that I received an email this morning from Lynn's son Danny. At Lynn's request in his living will, the family has honored his wishes and removed him from life support on Wednesday morning. The stroke he suffered damaged most of his frontal lobe and other parts of the brain and the doctors said there would be no way he could recover from it. We have lost a wealth of knowledge from SuperHunt54. God rest his soul.
I request that you continue your prayers for comfort of the family in this sad time.

That's very sad to hear.

One of my best friends Dad's passed away 2 weeks ago from an infection that caused multiple strokes. He was only 59 and it seemingly great health.

I guess when it's time it's time.

I'm reminded of the scene in Tombstone when one of the gang asks Doc Holiday why his out there fighting in his ailing state. His response - Wyatt is my friend. To which the inquisitor states, "he11, I got lots of friends."

Doc's reply - well I don't.

I didn't know Lynn personally through anything but this forum, but through the years, we'd chatted ebough I would say, among my ragged few crew friends, he is a person I was glad to call one.

Believe I'll go stoke up some rounds for my 7-08, one of his favored, if not favorite round, and burn some powder tomorrow so Lynn will have plenty of Varget on the other side of the veil. God's speed!
