RE: tasco world class scopes
Rochelle,
When I got my gun about 19 years ago, I was young and could'nt afford a top-of-the-line scope. I went with a Tasco World class 3x9x40mm then. It lasted about 5 years, then fogged on an Elk hunt-ruined the day. After that season I picked up a Leupold 3.5x10x40mm VariX111. That Leupold has been awesome, I would'nt use anything else now. I can't say what Tasco has nowadays, but maybe down the road you can upgrade to something better if you go with the Tasco now-at least it's not going to break the bank.
