A-BOLT 7mm Medalion

I was at a gun action at a wisconsin gun shop today, and bid and bought a used A-bolt 7mm Browning medalion with a LEUPOLD vx 2 with an adjustable optic I payed 450.00$$ the gun looks in good shape just wondering if u think that was a good deal for this gun????????

Sounds like you paid less than half price.
A new A-bolt Medallion 7mag is about a $800-$850 rifle. Depending on what size VX2 you have, that's probably another easy $250-$500 at MSRP. Depending on condition, if yours was hanging in the rack of the typical gunshop around my area I'd expect you to see a $650-$800 price tag on it.
I have 2 A-bolts, a SS Stalker 7mag and a 270 Medallion. They are GREAT guns and traditionally are very accurate. The VX2 is as good a scope as you'll likely ever need also. The whole package should last long enough for your grandkid to hand down.

Yeah, that's a steal. I got mine in the white gold in the .270 wsm. Man does it shoot great, I mean really great, only problem is my x-bolt medallion .300 win. mag shoots even better. Congrats on a great gun.
