The one piece seems an improvement over the two piece. Blind box would have been my pick over any at all, just for fewer things in the way and little weight advantage. Looks like they tried to make a "Faux Ti" copy of the 700. Shame about the trigger. Again, on paper, sounded nice. All stainless parts seems a plus.
Like to hear some range reports once you get it worked out. I may skip the new 70 and find an old 70 in 7WSM and go "Faux Extreme"

I've been waiting for this rifle for a very long time. I still think for the money there isn't a better factory rifle out there for the average hunter. Very accurate, light, excellent fit and finish, CRF etc.... The trigger on the other hand, the brain child of Browning, is a total turd.
They are egotistical morons for changing the trigger. Either that or lead by the b@lls by lawyers.

Easy vabyrd. I got a few
Here is a 700 build with kreiger barrel 300RUM, and H-S stock. Went thru two barrels on that gun. Hated the stock. But could ring a gong at 1000 yards all day
Here is a sako 75 action with dan lilja 300winnie and mcmillian stock. Excellent shooter
Another 700 with a dan lilja remsporster drop in 300winnie with mcmillan. Shown with tupperware stock, but have a forest green mc need to install.
My favorite. 7mm-08 on BDL with shilen #7varmint with hogged out factory stock fully glassed
