Which Remington 700 should I get?

I use a mountain custom KS in 7mm composite stock it has been fantastic!

I don't know what your tastes are but my taste would be the SPS or the ADL in stainless synthetic. I'm glad they came back out with the ADL btw

I really like Remington 700's and currently own three.

My favorite is a CDL with Polished Blue in .30-06. I like the classic looks of the CDL's, and mine is a great shooter. Only thing I've done to it is get the trigger lightened. It came from the factory at 4.5 pounds, and with no creep, which is not too bad for a Remington factory trigger.

I would get the 700 SPS. I personally hate the SPS stocks so I would just scrap the stock and put a nice stock on it like a H-S Precision. Doing it that way makes it a little less of a blow to the wallet all at once and at least gets you shooting your new gun.

The remington injection molded, plastic stocks are not as nice as say a kevlar aftermarket stock ,but they are waaaaaaaay nicer and stiffer/solid, than the flimsy hollow stocks on savages ,mossbergs and marlin etc Id even say thyere a bit better than even abolt syn stocks. JMO.
