.......Hey zrex.... I've never seen anything quite like that. Is there a pressure point at the front of the stock the barrel contacts, or is it free-floated the whole length? Did you shoot it with the factory stock before you put the new one on to get a comparison? Just curious......

Ya its completely floated, I havent shot it at all. I wanted to shoot it with the factory stock but couldnt resist putting it together first.

I have had them all through the years. glossy walnut, laminated, thumbholes, synthetic. I am into the military look now. I like the tactical stuff nowdays. Plus most aftermarket composites are aluminum pillar bedded as this one is. Just bolt them up, they are direct fit, no floating or bedding there done already.

I dunno, theres still a bunch on here shooting it.
Got to shoot it yesterday, was doing the barrel break in procedures and it shows great potential, even after cleaning my shots were still grouping.
I can tell its going to be a shooter cause I never chased my bullet around.
first shot off a bore sight I hit 8 low and 4 right, made adjustments and I was 1" dead center high on the second shot. 25 shots and all that cleaning I knocked the x out about 8 times. I didnt really do any group shots as I was there just to burn rounds and break in the barrell.
2 different loads and two different weights it shot them both great, I had a few one holers. It easily did 1 1/2" groups even after cleaning. Right before i left I let one fly at 200 yds 1 1/2" to the right, made adjustment and knocked the x out on the second shot. and when I say X I mean that little x dead center of the bull.
I need to go back and keep burning some rounds to break it in.
How many rounds do guys you think it takes before I can say its broke in. 100 ?
I did 2 shots patched it with copper solvent then brushed with copper solvent then patched it with hoppes then dry patches then oil then dry patch. This is what my cleaning consisted of.
I did 2 shots then cleaned for 10 rounds then did it after every 3 shots.
One thing I found out I dont like is the rear stock, it doesnt sit on a bag very good
