I would like to have a 7mm-08 but will stick with the 243 myself since I got a couple.Wanted to ask you who took a jig saw and cut chunks outa you new rifle? Why didn't you go with the leupy scope with the bases on this one? You know your gonna make the Hornet jealous! My nephew took my son's Ruger varmint243 to Colorado a few weeks ago and he was works on prarie dogs out to 400 consistantly and got one out at 480 one time,gotta love hand loads!
