I can purchase any of those guns by the truck load. Sounds like your state is the problem not Obama. He hasn't said the word gun in a speach since he took office, much less passed a gun law.

If Bush does not win Florida in 2000, and Ohio in 2004, the citizens of this country do not get the 5-4 Supreme court decision in the Heller case. This decision was monumental for gun owners -- it helps affirm that the right to keep and bear arms is in fact an INDIVIDUAL right, and NOT the right of the STATE.

Take away Alito and Roberts, and replace them with two liberal John Kerry appointees, you get a 6-3 judgement that favors Gun control advocates....

Then, at that time, try to tell me that a Democrat would have NEVER stopped YOU from buying any firearm..... BS....

You'd better hope, just like I do, that Chairman Mao Bama does NOT get a chance to replace Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Scalia, or Kennedy on the Supreme court. Right now, the only swing vote is Kennedy, and he luckily sided with gun owners in the Heller case.

Its hard to argue w/ you todd because you seem to contradict your own points. Do you even realize your making my points for me, by admitting republican controlled states like yours, have less restrictions on gun ownership? Do you even realize ,you contradict yourself by saying democrats are no threat to gun ownership, and then saying basically ,if we want less restriction on guns, then move to a republican state?

You sound like those liberals, who live in low crime areas and preach tolerance of criminal behavior, yeah as long as it aint in theyre backyard. Gungrabbing liberal democrats are no threat, as long as they dont affect gun rights in your state, right?

Like I said wake up, obama is not progun or prohunter ,and just because hes been busy, the past 6 months, running the deficit up ,past 1 trillion on the failed stimuls plan, bailing out failed car companies, and trying to ram rationed, substandard health care for all, down our throats, doesnt mean he wont sign the new AWB, democrats in cogress, and senate say they want, which will have, god knows what, in it.

Your own words: What YOU are saying is that you live in a state that has better gun laws than others.......A state that's predominately REPUBLICAN governed (Senate, House, Governor, Etc...) and that we who live in states that aren't, need to do something (elect more pro gun politicians) about it. Well is it just a coincidence that the states that have the toughest gun laws are predominately run by the Dems?
