I'd also strongly recommend that, in addition to using a bench so minimize shooter induced error, that you shoot more than just one group before you rule out any one ammo. You've got a few different types of ammo, so why don't you shoot the whole box of each off the bench before you decide. Not only will that allow you to get an average group size for each ammo type, but it'll also allow the barrel to break in a little. I've ALWAYS gotten better accuracy after somewhere between 15-30 shots.

Yeah I am not ruling anything out yet, I will shoot groups a few more times for sure.

Great looking rifle & scope combo, money well spent.

good lookin gun and doesnt shoot too bad outta the box!

id agree with shooting it from a bench...vice isnt really needed just sandbags or the like...

and breaking it in will help i bet...

ive only bought 1 brand new rifle so far...its a 22-250...took about 100rds for the bore to settle in...always shot well, but around 100rds it shot even better and the copper fouling was greatly reduced...man that copper fouling was terrible upto about 100rds...so bad you could visually see it after 3 shots and accuracy was starting to degrade...dont know if all new rifles are like that or just mine or just the 22-250 or what...

good luck with it!!
