Default Model 7 Remington 7mm-08

Can someone please give me an idea of the value of this gun. I've found one that is 95% if not better with a high gloss would stock and blued barrel. Just curious on what its worth. The guy wants $650 for it. Just wondering if its worth $600?

Well thats nota real good deal. Check gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com or gunsamerica.com. I seen a Mod 7 with a Bushnell Elite 3200 on it go through at 550 and no one bit. It didnt have a real nice piece of wood on it though. I wouldnt go that on it..but its your money and according to how bad you want it. They are selling new on Gunbroker for 600-800

Thanks for the info. My local dealer wants $749 for a new one. I may see if he'll through the scope in for $700. Its a Leupold VXII 3-9x40. From what you just told me that would be an average deal considering the scope. Thanks again.

$600.00 is not too high, depending on excellent or better condition, of course.

They are nice triggers to be sure bighorn. You can make a Remington factory trigger juuuust about as good for a few bucks too though. If you really want the gun and like it... then the value and what you are willing to spend is entirely up to you. If you think its a good deal and you want it and can afford it...by all means go ahead and get it. You may offer him 500-550 and negotiate up from there.

I think at one time or another all of us have bought guns that probably werent at the best price but just because we liked them and wanted them.
