Please tell me how a simple question about ammo. Has gottten this blown out of proportion? Look I love my firearms,hunting season's and country. Put 20 1/2 years in serving this country. I am more worried about my 3 kid's being able to have a future. Look people were on the verge of a depression. I worry about my retirement more then anything, my 308 or 243 etc. I love and wan't to give to my kid's, but i want a secure future that i think I have earned for them first.

The question about ammo was whether the 223 and 308 would become banned calibers due to the new admin. Is it that hard to see why the posts after the initial thread were posted? If so, you appear to lack discernment.

We need to protect our freedoms inpeaceful ways. You mention having served our country, and I thank you for serving. I have several relatives who served (including my father), and not all of them came back alive. I currently have relation in the armed forces. When a population is disarmed, tyrrany quite often follows at alater date. Countriesthatrecently disarmed the public or most of the public don't find themselves very safe. A disarmed public issubject to abuses by criminals,thugs, gangsand warlords. I hope you are more concerned about the long term safety of your children and the future generations than your retirement savings. You don't appear to be too concerned about losing a right and freedom that you said you served to protect for over 20 years - a freedom and right that has a price tag of many in the armed forces - some of which did not come back alive or came back forever changed in a negative way.
